Getting in from the airport
Chicago has two airports, and both connect to downtown by train. O'Hare is the big international hub, and the Blue Line runs from its lower level into the Loop in 40 to 45 minutes, all day and all night. Midway is smaller and closer, with the Orange Line making the run to the Loop in 20 to 25 minutes. A taxi from O'Hare costs about $40, and a rideshare runs about $35 to $50 before surges. From Midway, a taxi is about $25.
