Getting in from the airport
Reims sits about 45 minutes from Paris by TGV, which makes it an easy day trip or a weekend base. Two stations matter. Gare de Reims Centre is the one for the old town, a short walk north of the cathedral, and it handles TER services plus some TGV runs to Paris. The high-speed Gare Champagne-Ardenne TGV is out at Bezannes and is the stop for direct TGV trains from Paris Charles de Gaulle airport. From there, tram line T2 runs to Gare Centre and the cathedral; the tram stop is a short walk from the station forecourt. Paris Orly and Beauvais mean a road or Paris connection, with no direct train. The tourist office is at 6 rue Rockefeller, in front of the cathedral.
