Getting in from the airport
Bordeaux-Mérignac airport sits west of the city. Since 6 December 2025, tram line F has run from the terminal into the centre, which makes the airport a cheap ride rather than a taxi question; the older 30'Direct coach still gives a fast, direct link to Gare Saint-Jean. Gare Saint-Jean, the city's rail hub, is a short tram ride south of the centre. Cruise ships berth on the Garonne close to the old town.
Tram F runs between the airport and Gare Saint-Jean via the centre, taking about 35 minutes to Hôtel de Ville and about 45 minutes end to end, at a standard TBM fare. SourceBordeaux Aéroport
The 30'Direct shuttle links the airport to Gare Saint-Jean in about 30 minutes; a single trip costs €10 bought on board and €9 online. Source30'Direct
